Neutral Territory

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a fantastic week so far. I'm bracing the cold in neutrals today. It's not often that I'm in all neutral shades, and I'm loving it! These colors are the essential building blocks of our wardrobe, so you really can't go wrong with them. I think a warmer palette of neutral colors is so effortless and very comforting on a day like today :)

Sweater Weather

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a great week! Brrrr....it is definitely sweater weather today. Just yesterday we had our first snow fall of the season. It was short lived, but the chill still permeated the entire city. Winter may be coming early this year and I'm greeting the cold with a splash of rich burgundy and playful velvet polka dots. I think it does the trick :P

Something Wild

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday, hope you are having a wonderful week so far! I was feeling a little cheeky over the weekend and wanted to wear something light-hearted and cheerful. This ensemble is perfect for those casual weekend brunches and strolling around the city. A little animal power in this chilly weather is definitely a mood elevator and a fantastic weapon against the cold! :)

Fall for Classics

Hi everyone, happy Halloween! Hope you have plenty of candy in stock and let the spooky parties begin! I haven't been feeling very well for the last couple of days and am definitely on the way to a speedy recovery. The temperature in NYC dropped significantly over the last week or so and my body was madly adjusting to this crazy weather :P My cold day remedy?...nothing like a great trench coat to warm up a windy and miserable day...and chicken soup of course! :)

"Fall" in Love

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a fantastic Thursday! Over the weekend, I spent a beautiful afternoon exploring the meatpacking district with my friend Esther. She was kind enough to model for this week's post at the Pier 51 playground, on the far west side of Manhattan. We had such a fun day out, and topped it off with a stop at one of my favorite coffee houses in the city, Stumptown. Esther has this cute little blog called Love Always, Esther that you should definitely check out for fun eats around the city, as well as wonderful beauty and fashion finds.

Plaid Fun in Chicago

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a fabulous Thursday! I spent the past weekend in Chicago, a city that I love fondly. When I was in college, I went on an exchange program to study at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. Although it was only a short semester, I really enjoyed every moment of this unique and invaluable experience. I used to drive up to Chicago every now and then to spend the weekend there.  Years later it's easy to tell that this beautiful city never lost any of  its charm. I like to think of visiting Chicago as catching up with an old friend that I haven't seen in years. It's familiar and comforting, just like the good old times, as if nothing's changed :)

Rockaway Beach Getaway

I went away to Rockaway beach over the weekend for a little getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.
