October and November are two of my favorite months of the year, and with the holidays in sight, what's not to be excited about?! I'm heading over to Barcelona at the end of this month, and can't wait to to explore this beautiful and historic city filled with stories and eminent architecture!Back home in Melbourne, we celebrate the Melbourne Cup Carnival at this time of year. This tradition is taken very seriously and greatly embraced by the city, even the nation. Everyone dresses up beautifully to attend the carnival, especially the ladies with their pretty floral spring dresses, big fancy hats and facinators. You would not want to miss all the action on the race course or the fashion show at the show ground! Of course the real race - aka the race that stops a nation, is Australia's premier thoroughbred horse racing event, and us Aussies love to watch (and put in a cheeky tip now and then) on the horses.
I hope you are excited for the holiday season coming up, and if you have holiday plans like I do, I wish you a safe journey on the road and never stop exploring the world!
