Winter Layers
Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Battling with the Polar Vortex in NYC, I am bundled in layers and in my trusty faux fur vest. Even in this freezing cold, I got sick of wearing jeans and thought today is going to be a dress day! I can truly say that the best weapon against the cold is layering and Uniqlo's heattech. This stuff really works, and the best part is you don't need to look like a marshmellow when you walk out of the house. I remember jokingly saying to my friend (at the start of winter) that I wanted to try going without heattech this winter, but when the temperature dropped, it didn't take me a second to put on my heattech. You really have to work with the weather and not against it :P

Happy Australia Day :)
Hello everyone, happy Wednesday! :) If you are somewhere cold, I hope you are staying warm and dry; if you are currently enjoying the summer sunshine (like my Aussie friends), I am super envious, hope you are making the most out of your summer! Today's post is going to be a dedication to Australia. Many of you may know that Australia day is coming up on Jan 26 (this Sunday). This is an annual national celebration that marks the anniversary of the First Fleet of British Ships arriving in 1788 at Sydney Cove. I thought today's post would be the perfect time to share with you some of the Melbourne photos we took during my recent trip back home, and give you a small taste of one of the most livable cities in the world :)

Staying Warm for Winter Training
Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday, hope you are having a fab day! Today, I am super excited to talk about outdoor training gear for the winter months. I know many of you may have made new year's resolutions to be stronger, fitter, to exercise more and to eat healthier, and this year, you MEAN IT :P I personally really enjoy outdoor activities, and find them to be much more interesting and fun than just working out in a gym. However, persistent cold weather proves to be a great barrier in staying motivated and on track with your fitness plan/goal. If you fall into this category, never fear my friend, because having the right gear makes all the difference, even during the coldest months! :)

Outback Glam & Hellooooo 2014!
Hi everyone, happy 2014!! Hope this year is off to a fabulous
start for you! I thought I would do something more fun for the first post of the year, so I got dressed up and switched out the usual urban jungle backdrop for some
refreshing bush land scenery. It's important to start the year nice and fresh! This was taken while I was still in Melbourne, my home
city. I had such a wonderful time back in Australia over Christmas and new
year with my family and friends. There is really no place like home! :)
