Travel Highlights: Shanghai & Beijing

Hi everyone, hope you are having a great week! I'm back from my two-week Asia trip and I can't wait to share all the things I found and loved. I had such an amazing time with my family and friends, exploring all the places I have and have never been to, climbed one of the seven wonders of the world, got plenty of shopping done, and of course indulged on some of my favorite foods that I grew up with :)

Hi everyone, happy Thursday! As you are reading this, I am probably on my way to the airport. It's been super busy leading up to this Shanghai / Beijing trip, but I can't wait to share my new discoveries and adventures. Please excuse some delays, as access to social media (including this blog) may be very limited while I'm over there. Anyway, the weather over the weekend was super nice (especially Sunday); our first taste of summer and what's to come. It was only right that I wear something equally as cheerful and sunny :)

Blushing Nudes

Hi everyone, hope you are having a great week! One more week and I'm off to Shanghai & Beijing for two weeks! Yiippeee....bring on the holidays :) Work has been so busy that thinking or planning for this holiday has been put on the back burner. Despite this, I am looking forward to a much needed holiday to unwind and spend some quality time with my family! Every spring I like to welcome the season with fresh colors, soft neutrals and delicious sorbet shades to ease myself into summer. This spring is no different. I absolutely adore the color and cut of this moto jacket, super fresh and modern.

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a great day! I don't know about you, but I sure wish it was the weekend already. It's been a loooong week! Despite the rain, this spring has been quite pleasant with many days of glorious sunshine and parks filled with pretty cherry blossoms. I think in a couple of weeks time, they'll all be in full bloom. I had this breezy outfit on for those easy weekend brunches in the village with friends.

Checked Peplum

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a great day! Weather lately has been kinda humid with mixed showers and high winds. Overall, April has been really sporadic and unpredictable, but it is safe to say winter has finally left us. As you can see, I'm enjoying this summer outfit on an extremely warm spring day. This was taken in Brooklyn, during the start of the summer rooftop drinking/hangout session. One of my favorite things in the city during the summer - a great rooftop :) You get a great view of the city and in this particular case, a perfect view of Manhattan.

Cropped Spring Floral

Hi everyone, a quick hello today. Hope you are having a fabulous day! It's not really spring till florals are out to play ;) As you can see, I am fully committed to this print and definitely not a stranger (see here & here). It's always hard for me to say no to a healthy dose of pretty floral when the sun's out and the weather is warm. It brings such happiness and cheer to my day, particularly on a tough day.

Spring Gingham Trench

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! What a beautiful spring day! Looks like we are taking a small break from the April rain for some much needed sunshine. I absolutely adore days like this where the temperature is perfect to throw on a light trench, and who can say no to some gingham? :P I've been a little busy lately with work. Between starting a new job, welcoming a new season and planning the next getaway, life has been a little chaotic. I think a splash of blue might just bring some calm and peace to keep me focused.

Let It Rain...

Hi everyone, hope you are having a fantastic week! They say April showers bring May flowers, I sure hope so, cos there's nothing worse than a whole weekend filled with continuous rain. What do you do when the weather is not going your way? Spend it indoors browsing the Brooklyn museum and more importantly, wear something that will instantly cheer you up. At least, that was my rainy day remedy :)

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! We had some gorgeous spring weather last weekend. I was so excited about not having to wear a jacket that I decided to go with something super easy and fresh. Although the temperature has been steadily increasing, the wind on the other hand was strong and mighty! Spring: success, hair: fail. Oh well, can't complain, I'll take what I can get :P

Hi everyone, hope you are having a fantastic day! I'm mixing some staple prints with a vibrant blazer today in the hope of  adding some cheer to this slightly overcast day. I've been on the hunt for a classic red blazer for a long time. I'll admit, the search hasn't been short or easy. A great cut and fit aside, finding the right shade of red proved to be challenging but crucial. It's like searching for that perfect shade of red lipstick, a process not to be rushed :P

Spring Leather

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Over the weekend I invited my beautiful friend Ange, also a long time blog supporter, to do an outfit shoot and she graciously accepted the invitation. This shoot location is between TriBeCa and the Financial District, and particularly close to our hearts. We completed many runs together on this route, caught up on the weekly gossip and shared our love for this beautiful city that we now call home. I thought her outfit was perfect for the upcoming spring season. The weather was gorgeous that day and there were so many runners out enjoying a good run in the sun.

Neon Camouflage

Hi everyone, hope you are having an awesome day! I went casual over the weekend with this camo + neon ensemble. I took a little sunny break at a local park and played with some friendly neighborhood dogs. When I got tired of playing with them, I went on the slides like a big kid. It's nice to do something silly every once in a while :P
