Neon Camouflage

Hi everyone, hope you are having an awesome day! I went casual over the weekend with this camo + neon ensemble. I took a little sunny break at a local park and played with some friendly neighborhood dogs. When I got tired of playing with them, I went on the slides like a big kid. It's nice to do something silly every once in a while :P

With spring approaching (though it still doesn't quite feel that way right now :( ), I'm looking forward to ditching the heavy winter layers and putting on lighter pretty florals, cheerful colors and soft pastels. Starting right now with this happy "pale citrus" colored skirt. In person, this skirt is definitely anything but pale! I think it's a great piece to have in your wardrobe to transition into spring. I'm thinking of also pairing it with a light colored blouse/shirt when the temperature warms up.

Without wanting to look overly girly, I also threw on this camo top to toughen up the look. Now, I must admit that camo is a rare sighting in my closet, but I'm working on rectifying this problem :P This military print is definitely a classic and a lot of fun to play with. For me, I like my camo a little modern vs the traditional look and feel.
