Checked Peplum

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a great day! Weather lately has been kinda humid with mixed showers and high winds. Overall, April has been really sporadic and unpredictable, but it is safe to say winter has finally left us. As you can see, I'm enjoying this summer outfit on an extremely warm spring day. This was taken in Brooklyn, during the start of the summer rooftop drinking/hangout session. One of my favorite things in the city during the summer - a great rooftop :) You get a great view of the city and in this particular case, a perfect view of Manhattan.

I love days like this where the humidity is low, the weather is breezy, yet still relatively warm. Clearly, I was a little eager to usher in summer with my short sleeves and shorts, but I adore a minimalist look with the blend of modern print, clean lines and simplistic (or lack of) colors. An effortless look is always in for spring/summer days!
