Summer Romper, Short & Sweet

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great Tuesday! Over the weekend, I went to check out Williamsburg. Williamsburg is a culturally diverse and colorful neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Even though I have been there a number of times, previous visits have always been hurried, leaving no time to do any decent exploration. So, this time I made sure I did just that! I walked, I saw, I tasted and experienced to my heart's content :) In the heat of summer, this cute little romper was the perfect acompaniment to stroll around town.

Since falling in love with my little jumpsuit (post here), introducing a little romper to my wardrobe was the next most natural step. Besides, it's summer and I love shorts! Adorable onezie shorts? Yes please! I thought I might run into some sort of bathroom awkwardness, so far...totally fine :)

This summer, the weather has been relentless, heating up to 37C (99F) during the day. If you are out and about, even standing under a shady tree is not really a desirable option to keep cool. I generally avoid going out during the hottest parts of the day and try to keep hydrated at all times. If you must go out, I highly recommend wearing something that will keep you cool and comfortable! Look out for materials that allow movement and are breathable. This means, the more natural the material is, the better.

If you don't live right next to the ocean, don't let the heat drag you down this summer. Nothing an easy breezy outfit, some smart sun protection and plenty of hydration cannot fix! I hope you stay cool & beautiful all summer long!
