The Contemporary Romper

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a wonderful week :) I went back to Australia for the past two weeks. It was so wonderful to see my family, catch up with great friends and enjoy the Aussie summer. It's always nice to be back home and take a break from this gruesome NYC winter, but now I miss summer! This outfit was taken near my home in Melbourne while I was on my way to drinks with friends.

Summer Romper

Hi everyone, hope you are having a great week! The weather hasn't been the best the last couple of weeks. All the rain has certainly not helped with the humidity. Despite this, I was able to spend the weekend in the West Village, soaking up some sun, chilling out in some of my favorite restaurants, gelati stores and shopping in cute little boutique stores on one of my favorite streets in New York, Bleecker street. Every summer, the beloved romper makes a great appearance and this summer is no different. Thanks to my friend Jasmine in this post, this little number is perfect for that lazy summer weekend ;)

Summer Romper, Short & Sweet

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great Tuesday! Over the weekend, I went to check out Williamsburg. Williamsburg is a culturally diverse and colorful neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Even though I have been there a number of times, previous visits have always been hurried, leaving no time to do any decent exploration. So, this time I made sure I did just that! I walked, I saw, I tasted and experienced to my heart's content :) In the heat of summer, this cute little romper was the perfect acompaniment to stroll around town.

I have always loved a good pair of shorts for many reasons, so when the playsuits resurged into mainstream fashion a number of years ago, I did not hesitate to purchase a pair. I think they are just so much fun to wear, super versatile for either formal or informal events, and they introduce a different dimension of chic and sophistication by giving you a continuous and streamlined profile.
