Soft Lilac & Blushing Pinks

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Hope you had a fabulous weekend and a great start to the week! My weekend was super relaxed, filled with shopping in the village, a picnic at Battery park with great company and an awesome home cooked seafood brunch. For easy weekends like these, I love to match it with a cute outfit that's also comfortable. I layered on a touch of glamour just cos I cannot resist a beautiful floral bib :-P

As things heat up in the city, I was excited to play with a softer color palette of relaxing hues. Pretty pinks and gentle lilac are a few of my favorite colors. Yes, super girly, but they remind me of fairy floss and lavender fields, all the wonderful and happy things in life :) To stay nice and cool, a silky, flowy top was my weapon against the humidity.

This summer, I developed a slight crush on patterned shorts. As I re-evaluate my closet (a task I perform religiously every few months to ensure all pieces are loved and everything's well curated), I noticed a small, but happy build up of shorts in vibrant colors, light textures and fun patterns. Shorts are definitely well loved and a staple part of my summer closet.

What's your closet summer favorite?
