The Colorful Color-blocking

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! To those who celebrated Thanksgiving, hope you all had a fantastic time with your family and loved ones. Our Thanksgiving dinner was turkey plus all the trimmings...yummo! It was hubby's first time cooking the turkey and I must admit, it was a huge success and everyone loved it!

The weather has been quite mild leading up to Thanksgiving, so I took the opportunity to wear thinner layers and something a little more festive. To me, nothing is more upbeat and passionate than a dash of red. I absolutely adore the color, though I must admit, in my closet, I actually don't own many pieces of true red colored clothing. I like to reserve this color for happy and cherished moments in life, or using it as an accent to brighten my outfits.

You all know that I enjoy a good dose of color blocking. This cheerful color combination has a young and contemporary edge to it. The clean and sharp contrast makes me feel like I'm wearing a piece of modern art. A little while ago, I posted on neutral color-blocking (see here), this time, I wanted to go with one of my favorites...brights! Hope your day is also filled with colors and smiles! =)
