Neutral Colour-blocking

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful day! Since the weather is so pleasant today, I decided on a simple, neutral toned, colour-blocking dress. This dress is just a dream to wear. The fabric is silky smooth but not clingy, and it grazes nicely over the body. The thoughtful neutral colour combination  makes the dress extremely versatile and easy to pair. I also think it is the perfect canvas to incorporate a dazzling statement necklace! =)

Colour-blocking in fashion means a garment or an outfit is composed of finite blocks of solid colour. This trend has always been one of my favourites, but I normally gravitate towards mixing bright and cheerful colours. Neutral toned colour-blocking is a more classic take on the technique, and I am definitely appreciating its simplicity, ease and clean lines. I feel incredibly calm and collected wearing this dress.

If you are not normally a neutral colour person, I hope you will give neutral colour-blocking a go, and maybe you might just find yourself to be surrounded by an aura of inner peace!
