Waffle Print with Fur Warmer

Hi everyone! Hope you are enjoying your weekend and are looking forward to Thanksgiving next week. I am super excited and just drinking in all the festivities. In light of celebrations, I grabbed my cheerfully colored canary yellow waffle knit today, paired it with a chunky neck warmer, a pair of tall suede boots, and I was ready for a casual day out.

I find that in order to keep warm, it makes a huge difference having your neck and feet nicely covered up. This snood is so luscious and warm, even looking at it makes me feel toasty =P I must admit, I wouldn't even consider a fur snood in Melbourne because it's just not very practical for our weather, but here in NYC, I crave for accessories that provide shelter and protection for the peripheral parts of the body. Of course, who wouldn't love wardrobe pieces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasant.

These boots are amazingly comfortable with the perfect heel height for me to walk in. I think the subtle golden lion details are just adorable! Like icing on a cake =)
Fall really is a beautiful season, especially during the festive holidays. The air is cool and crisp, intertwined with the smell of holiday spice and hearty cooking. I love adding in some cheerful colors, comforting layers and luscious texture to "enrich" my fall wardrobe and to keep warm. What's your favorite color and texture this fall season?
