Casual blazer with golden beads

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday! I'm so glad that Friday is just around the corner :)

Today, I would like to make a second confession: I love blazers!!

I'll admit, I have a sizeable collection of casual and professional blazers stashed away in my closet. Why, I hear you ask? Well, I personally love the way they give your body some shape and structure, as well as their versatility in pairing (e.g., with dresses, pants, skirts, t-shirts, blouses, boots). It is a great layering piece for a classic silhouette and a polished look.

Blazers are basically a casual jacket (reminiscent of suit-style jackets in general shape), but it does not come with matching pants or a skirt. It emerged as everyday casual wear in the 1920's especially among young men, and women designers such as Coco Chanel quickly followed this trend to produce chic options for stylish women.

Today, traditional patterns of blazers are evolving and changing to include embroidery, embellishment, interesting stitching or lining,  metallic colour, velvet materials, knitted textures, and fun colours. The options are endless. If you are out there in the market, searching for that perfect blazer for shape and comfort, pay close attention to the fit and the quality of craftsmanship. A well tailored and great quality blazer will be a classic piece in the wardrobe for many years to enjoy!
