Fall Cape

Hi everyone, hope you are having an awesome week! I'm embracing this season's cape trend and decided to pick one up and try it out. This little guy makes me feel very English and also reminds me of Sherlock Holmes. Now, I'm no detective, but it's not a mystery why the cape trend has been so popular ;)

Winter Layers

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Battling with the Polar Vortex in NYC, I am bundled in layers and in my trusty faux fur vest. Even in this freezing cold, I got sick of wearing jeans and thought today is going to be a dress day! I can truly say that the best weapon against the cold is layering and Uniqlo's heattech. This stuff really works, and the best part is you don't need to look like a marshmellow when you walk out of the house. I remember jokingly saying to my friend (at the start of winter) that I wanted to try going without heattech this winter, but when the temperature dropped, it didn't take me a second to put on my heattech. You really have to work with the weather and not against it :P

Spring Forward!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a fabulous day so far! I know Spring is meant to be on its way but this was definitely not the case for Zurich. I was in Switzerland for a few days over the weekend and the weather was COLD.....brrrrr. Luckily, I had great company and there were also moments of sunshine that really made my day. Zurich is such a clean city, everything runs with great precision and efficiency. While over there, I did notice how dark most people dressed. So, I decided instead to put on a bright spring outfit from my suitcase. After all, we must look forward to the new season! :)

Aztec Inspiration

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a fabulous Wednesday! Since the landing of snow storm Nemo last weekend, it was wonderful to take a break from the cold to enjoy some milder weather for a change. Despite the crazy weather, it was breathtaking to see the city transformed overnight to a winter wonderland. Blankets of fluffy white snow covered everything from tree tops to buildings, just like icing on a delicious cake. I spent some time at the natural history museum over the weekend and was inspired to put together an outfit with a tribal, native and rustic vibe.

The White Casual Weekender

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! Hope you are enjoying your day! Snow is really exciting for me because I've never lived anywhere that snows in winter. Despite this, I am glad that the weather today is a lot milder. Last weekend, I braced the cold with a white ensemble for a wonder in the snow. The temperature was so cold, as you can see in the photos, I had trouble even standing still =P

Hi everyone! Happy holidays! I absolutely love this time of year where we spend quality time with our families, cook up a storm, eat till our bellies hurt, look forward to be spoiled with presents, and count our blessings for the year.
