Pop of Bright: Chartreuse Yellow

Hi everyone, happy Tuesday! Hope you are having an awesome week :) I am warming up the cold winter days with chartreuse yellow today. Just looking at this color makes me feel warmer and happier. I think it's crucial to introduce mood elevators such as vibrant colors during the frigid winter to remind us that we are more than half way through the cold, and spring is just around the corner.

Chartreuse yellow is one of my favorite colors, and this color is anything but shy. It is a mixture of small amounts of green with yellow, giving it that slightly fluorescent undertone. When I'm dressing in the morning and faced with gloomy weather, I often reach for brighter colors. These colors really add that pop of life and energy to your day, making everything just that little bit better :)

Next week, I'm heading back home to Australia for a quick visit. Summer, here I come! For those who are still stuck with winter days, don't despair, the cold days are almost over. I cannot wait to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom :)
