Outback Glam & Hellooooo 2014!

Hi everyone, happy 2014!! Hope this year is off to a fabulous start for you! I thought I would do something more fun for the first post of the year, so I got dressed up and switched out the usual urban jungle backdrop for some refreshing bush land scenery. It's important to start the year nice and fresh! This was taken while I was still in Melbourne, my home city. I had such a wonderful time back in Australia over Christmas and new year with my family and friends. There is really no place like home! :)

To usher in 2014, I wanted to put on something a little more fancy, yet with a clean and simple color palette. This outfit was exactly what I was looking for, and I loved the dramatic contrast it had against a more rugged, natural and earthy landscape in the background.

My new year's resolution? Embrace and appreciate! Definitely need to practice more of that this year :)
