Summer Festivities

G'day from Australia! Hope you are having an awesome day and looking forward to the holidays!! I came back to Melbourne last week, and it's been so amazing just to be back at home with my family and friends. Melbourne is still as beautiful as I remember it and I am beyond excited to spend the next week or so catching up with everyone, soaking up some much needed Aussie sunshine and enjoying the company of my gorgeous home city. In the spirit of the holidays, I'm dressed in holiday colors today to add some cheer to a summer Christmas :)

Christmas time in the southern hemisphere is definitely different and something to remember. It's generally the hottest time of the year. I grew up in Australia, so a hot Christmas was all I ever knew until I moved to NYC last year. Despite the lack of snow fall and a warm fireplace to cozy up next to, Christmas in Melbourne is super festive. We eat lots of fresh seafood around this time of the year and a barbie (BBQ) in the backyard is not to be missed.
