Fresh Spring Trends

Hi everyone! Hope you are enjoying your Monday! This season, there are a few trends and colors that really caught my attention, and I thought it'd be fun to bring them together in unison as they reminded me some of the best qualities of spring: new beginnings and bright colors! :)

I love animal print, but this print does become a little harder to carry off in the warmer seasons. Emerald green is predicted to be a big hit this spring. So, I thought updating one of my favorite prints with this color would be much more spring appropriate. It's fresher, cleaner and happier!
Next up, spring leather. Leather is generally a luxurious material and again better suited to the colder months. This season, spring leather is here to stay. They come in all varieties including tshirts, sleeve-less tops, shorts and skirts, ready to rock on to the warmer months. For some added texture, I've opted for a high-low drop waist peplum top with leather trim and leather sleeves. I am a big fan of mixing material and texture :)

Finally, the two additional colors that caught my eye on the pantone color report for spring 2013 (See the entire palette of colors below) are poppy red and linen (which is a pretty blush like color). The inclusion of these two colors in this outfit was totally accidental, but the result...I love it!

Spring has definitely sprung! As we settle into spring in the Northern hemisphere, I hope you too will find (if not already) some beautiful spring colors and trends to be thrilled about!
