Old Favorite in New Color

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend to relax and unwind. March is well and truly here, and yet spring is still no where to be seen. In addition, NYC is still battling through a couple of snow storms (past and to come). Despite this, I decided it's time to pull out some thinner layers and start getting ready and excited for Spring! :)

Pinky hues are one of my all time favorite colors. I think they are incredibly soft, feminine and romantic. Today, I paired a dusty pink blouse with a rich bordeaux colored leather pencil skirt. I wanted the cloudy pink tone to soften the rich color and leather material of the skirt.

I personally think a great pencil skirt is a wardrobe staple. It's timeless, sophisticated and super versatile, taking you from summer to winter and everything in between. It appeals to a wide age group and is suitable for the office, as well as casual social functions. The pencil skirt really works hard to accentuate your body, creating a slimming and flattering silhouette for many body shapes.

I hope like me, you are also looking forward to the new season and discovering old closet favorites to transition to the new season!

  1. Denim skirts are considered one of the most popular types of karen millen outlet skirts which have been coming back to the style world. You can purchase these skirts in a number of styles like tiered, mini, A-line, pencil trouser and error cut styles.
