Polka Stripes Strikes Again

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Seeing as today is such a beautiful day, I am combining two of my all time favorite patterns: polka dots and stripes. This has always been my foolproof combination to bring a big smile to my face, and today is no exception :-D

As the temperature drops slightly to prepare NY for the new season, the city has become a lot more comfortable and breezier. On weekends, I like to take walks down the Hudson to catch the last smile from the sun as it bids the world goodnight. This outfit is so much fun to wear on those lazy weekend days, strolling along the river, brunching and relaxin'. I love how the polka dots and the skater skirt have that same whimsical and carefree vibe, making them a winning complementary team. This old time favorite pattern combo is perfect for transitional season dressing (seen here) or summer time chillin' ;P

Classic patterns have always been a great investment for me as they stand the test of time. I love finding new ways to combine them and I hope you will too!
