Pop of Red

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! So, apparently I didn't get the memo that it was going to snow last weekend. Caught in a light flurry (which turned angry in a few hours time to heavy snow), I was saved by my ultra warm military style coat and cashmere lined gloves. I guess black & white was the theme for that day. I then added a pop of red to cheer me up on this cold winter's day and the endless snow storms we've been getting. Small size, but huge presence against winter white :)

It's vital in winter to find yourself a great coat. I have a couple in the closet on rotation, but this one is a fav cos it's nice and warm, and also at the right length for me. Function + style is always a huge win! :) I absolutely adore the gold button detail, I think they really complement this style of coat and put that perfect finishing touch to a great coat. This one is also double breasted, and I was surprised with the amount of insulation this provided.

If the winter misery is getting you down, try a pop up color. I noticed that a lot of winter clothing is really dark and solemn, particularly the jackets/coats. I always like to add some fun colored accessories to really make things pop!

If you are currently somewhere cold, I hope everyone's keeping warm and safe. I'm sure the worst is almost over, and now all we have to do is wait for spring to knock on the door!

  1. Leatherwork gloves are the most popular choice or curiosity for most people, and they are typically the most popular option or want. Like those of all coins, the design of leather work gloves has two sides. Gloves made of leather are the most costly, but they are also the most durable and pleasant option. Heated work gloves, like our skin, need regular cleaning and attention in the same manner that we do. In addition, they are the longest-lived.
