Nautical Stripes

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday! Hope you are having a fabulous day! With summer just around the corner, I thought it would be appropriate to bring out some preppy nautical stripes and get ready for the water, sun, sand and surf action!

For me, wearing super comfy and breathable outfits is really important in summer. The jersey material of this dress is 100% cotton, which allows your skin to breath and minimizes any skin irritations, particularly if the weather is humid.

Since this is an A-line dress, a belt is handy to cinch the waist. For some added personality, I layered a colorful scarf and one of my favorite belts. I chose a more delicate silk scarf because it's spring. In colder months, I can see this dress paired with a collared shirt/top inside and some pretty baubles to accent.
