Maxi to Midi

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! It's not often NYC summer days are breezy, but today is one of those days. I took full advantage of this weather and walked down the west side highway to catch the cool breeze and a beautiful sunset at dusk. When you live in NYC, I'm sure many would agree with me that space (especially closet space) is prime real estate, and a frequent issue for apartment dwellers. Having a highly efficient closet has always been a priority of mine and today I am wearing this maxi skirt that doubles as a midi dress. I love clothing pieces that are versatile with multiple functionality :)

Summer Romper

Hi everyone, hope you are having a great week! The weather hasn't been the best the last couple of weeks. All the rain has certainly not helped with the humidity. Despite this, I was able to spend the weekend in the West Village, soaking up some sun, chilling out in some of my favorite restaurants, gelati stores and shopping in cute little boutique stores on one of my favorite streets in New York, Bleecker street. Every summer, the beloved romper makes a great appearance and this summer is no different. Thanks to my friend Jasmine in this post, this little number is perfect for that lazy summer weekend ;)

Cropped Neon Stripes

Hi everyone, hope you had an awesome 4th of July and are having a great week! It's gotten really hot, really quickly here in the last week or so. There is no doubt that summer is here! Commuting to and from work everyday has become a battle with the humidity and once you get to the office, the a/c is turned on so high that I always need to wear another layer indoors. Dressing for multiple climate conditions can prove to be a constant challenge, so I moved a modest collection of my sweaters, blazers and jackets to the office and built up a small but flexible wardrobe at work :P Luckily, on weekends there's always time to throw on something fun and enjoy the sun!

The Shirt Dress

Hi everyone, hope you are having a great week! Work's been super busy, so it's definitely exciting to welcome the long weekend. What are your plans for the Independence Day long weekend? Last year I went to see the fireworks, but it was so crowded that I'm sure I saw more of everyone's heads than the fireworks :P This year I might try my luck on a rooftop somewhere. In preparation for NYC summer, I went to work today in this light, summer shirt dress.
